If you want to have a more healthy living then you can use the hero of all the cooking oils i.e. the canola oil. This oil is derived from the seeds of the canola plant that is a part of Brassica family. This also includes cabbage, cauliflower and broccoli. A nutritionist based in Bangalore, Dr Anju Sood, said that Canola oil is highly recommended as cooking oil because of its method of extraction and high level of nutrition. Its low smoke point makes it very inconvenient for cooking in India as it involves high heat. Canola Oil consists of two main polyunsaturated fats namely Omega 3 and Omega 6. It is also helpful to increase the levels of bad cholesterol in the body and its mono-saturated fatty acids works in a way that fights against cardiovascular diseases.

Canola Oil is also a rich source of vitamin K and vitamin E that is essential for a healthy skin and the efficient immune system. It also helps in reducing the abdominal fats by 1.6 percent. It also controls the level of blood sugar in the body. Now you can eat till you find contentment without any fear of gaining some extra weight.
